I have installed win 98 when i try to install the drivers for the document and software from the software trident master cd .which looks like so driver display directx game display info about help on display driver and the help i get this message chip set error. the rest are ok i need to install the driver for win.98it is setup vido77/78 display driver. can anyone help here the disk is jatson made easy 1.60

GO to Start> settings> control panel> display> settings> advanced> adapter> change> Check, have disk, browse, dig down into the CD to the driver> OK.

If you follow the steps in the above post it will ask you for display drivers. It will ask if you want windows to search for the best drivers or if you want windows to look in a specified place. That place is on your CD. You have to open the cd using browse and keep digging down the layers until you get to the actual driver. It will be called the veideo card name and will be for win98.
