Making a SVCD/VCD

At last i got my DVD to play CD-R and CD-RW. Now my next project is to make SVCD or VCD out of the movies i got on my computer. mostly AVI and Mpg files.. And this is were i could use some help, i havn´t got a clue how to do it. I beleive iw read somewere that i need a program that puts a cue and bin file on my SVCD CD.. Please help me..

try using super dvd ripper. search for it on google.

Use the Nero Burning wizard in making VCD ans SVCD. Its simple and easy and works on most dvd players. You can download a trail version. Just go to ahead.com or nero.com

Nero does a really good job on VCD's but the encoder they use for SVCD's is terrible. Use TMPEGenc for the encoding of SVCD's then burn with Nero.
