Question: How do I make Netscape the default browswer again? A friend of mine installed something (not sure what), and now IE is the default. (What can I say? The guy just likes Netscape).

In Explorer, look in Tools, Folder Options, File types then look for the settings for HTM, HTML etc. On each, choose 'edit' and then navigate down to the Netscape folder and the netscape.exe, or netscp.exe program - exit and when you open an HTML file, Netscape will open.

Assuming this is Netscape 7.x, just start Netscape, click Edit>Preferences>Navigator, the click the button "Set Default Browser".
