Hi Everyone, The problem I'm having is reading floppy disc that after I've saved stuff on from work (Mac)and then when I bring them home (PC)to work on I'm not able to open them. I keep getting this message "this disc has not been formatted! Do you wish to format! Yes! No! Even if I choose Yes I get another message saying that unable to format cause of bad disc (which I know isn't) or it has been locked by a disc utility or something like that. Anyway my ? is that is there a program or tool that can help me in accessing this disc. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Use IBM-formatted disks on the Mac - then your PC will be able to read them. Have done this many, many times.

A lot of times, depending on the Mac OS you are using, the disk can be made ready to be read on a PC.It also depends on the application you are using on the Mac. See if there is a way to format the disk on the Mac to a PC format, and/or if the application can save your data in a PC-compatible form. The newer OSs (8 and above) should be able to do this. I don't know how well older systems would do. Check on Mac sites for more information.
