Hi, I just bought a dell 4100 series and it works fine but whenever I go anywhere (website eg.) it gets pretty loud. I am guessing it is the harddrive. Does that mean it is a bad one or just loud?
Thanks Tammy p.s. It is a quantam 30gig if that helps.

If you are used to quite drives like IBM or WD then the Quantum will sound very loud. I have had several of these drives. They are decent enough except for the noise. HTH, wcr3d
