lost my sound card???

i have recently downloaded a mp3 jukebox but when i went to play some music the sound came out very quietly, i restarted my computer but then device manager said that the sound card wasn't there, but up until the jukebox download it was working fine. it is a built in ess es1688 audiodrive running on a compaq p111 500 64mb, i've tried installing it agian but windows cant find any new hardware

please help its doing my head in

Uninstall the jukebox and then reinstal the sound drivers. There is an obvious conflict there and you might try a different jukebox.
