Looking for Packard Bell Master Cd #170586

Specs: Win95A
I wanted to dust off my old Packard Bell and set it up for classic gaming. But I need to replace the Hard Drive and I lost the Master CD years ago. Can any one help? Thank you

Talk to HP. They bought out Packard Bell many years ago and they would be the ones who would have it.

FYI, even if someone did have a copy of it it likely wouldn't do you any good - the Windows licensing agreement for a consumer system typically states that there is 1 reinstall CD for 1 system. You cannot use 1 CD in another system. Business systems might be different - depending on what the employer buys for a licensing agreement - but for consumers it's usually 1 to 1.

So like I said, talk to HP.

Unfortunately it's in the room-that's-packed-so-full-of-junk-I-can't-get-in-it. I've started excavating but it may take a week or so to find it.

Of course you don't actually need that particular disk to get the computer going. You can do an install using a regular 95 (or 98) installation disk.

Yea I know I dont need it. But I would like to have the old Background images, sound effects, and other small applications that came with it. Just to take me back in time when I was in 7th grade.
