After working on a machine for a few months the long file names ability on windows 95 seems to have stopped, and I've no idea why? is there a limit to the number of files with long file names? Is there a patch to cure this? Any ideas or help would be appreciated

Summary: Stop and think about it. There is only one directory. It shows both short and long file names. You can see it with a disk editor. If they are, you can get them. You can also display, copy, rename, etc...
