The easiest way is to use Tweakui. It's on your win98 CD or can be downloaded at many places on the WWW. Yweakui has many useful options.

And now that i'm at it anyway, is there a way of removing Favorites, Documents and Help from the start menu? (editing the registry)

No thanks, no tweak UI for me. I already found the solution to remove the Favorites folder, but i can't find the one for removing the documents and help folders.

Hi again Blob,

To remove the documents go to the following location in your registry.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
Windows\ CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Right click in the Right Pane and select
New and DWORD Value.
Name it NoRecentDocsMenu.
Double click on it and give it a Value of 1.

You can restore the Documents in the Start Menu by changing it to a Value of 0.

To remove the help.
Make a new DWORD Value in the above mentioned location.
Name it NoSMHelp and give it a value of 1.

Take Care,

Good Day!
Mesich

Blob,

The registry tweak above for removing help will not work. It is for WinME.

The one for the Documents does work.

I will post back about the Help in Start.
Don't have that handy.
