Does anyone know where I can get a list of different run codes for Windows 98SE. I know MSCONFIG but I want to know others for example the code to check what hardware I got in my PC.

After rereading your post several times, I have determined that by code, you actually mean command. A full list is available by looking at C:\windows\command. Anything that ends with .exe or .com can be run. However I suspect that you wish to learn about the hardware installed inside your computer. With a packard Bell, the first place I would look is the sticker on top of the case. The next would be device manager (right click on my computer and choose properties). A more detailed report could be generated with a program such as 'everest home' or 'belarc advisor' (both freebees). If this does not answer your query, please rephrase your question.

In Windows ME...... MSINFO32. REGEDIT (gets you into the registry- be careful). DXDIAG. I can't think of any more at the mo.
