Comment:

I was wondering if anyone else has had any trouble installing Limewire on Windows 95. I had it going on another computer running '95 C, but having problems with my desktop. If I install 4.10.5 (newest), I get:

Limewire was unable to initalize and start. This is usually to a firewall program blocking Limewire's access to the internet or loopback connections on the local machine. Please allow Limewire access to the internet and restart Limewire.

I have all the updates and Java installed (I was curious about the Java because I know Limewire relies heavily on Java.) I also installed msjavex86.exe (MS build 3805).

Also, if I install the 1.4b legacy, Limewire loads but does not connect.

Anyone else have the same problem? Computer runs great otherwise.
