I purshased a Logitec RF mouse so that my wife, who is left-handed, could use it. I cannot find any place to change it to a left-handed mouse.
It would be nice that I had a simple way to do this likew a shortcut on the desktop. That way we could change it back and forth real easy.
Any ideas?

Yes, the Control Panel mouse icon will almost certainly give you the facility to change left/right functions.
In modern optical and cordless mice it is a tad less obvious than it used to be. You will probably find a Buttons applet where you can change the functions of each button. The only proviso is that you have to assign the Click/Select option before you change the other button to Context Menu/Alternate select.
Sure, you should be able to work out how to do this with your own particular mouse if you look a little closer.
I sympathise however with your need to make this a simple icon function. I've had a look at my mouse and unfortunately it doesn't look too easy.I saved the registry, made the changes, then did a before and after comparison. For my optical/cordless mouse there were quite a few registry changes.
It is indeed feasible to have to registry files (left.reg & right.reg for example) then use batch files to "toggle" these back and forth. I have used this sort of process with several programs and arranged for the shortcut to be swapped to suit each situation.
It all depends on how far you wish (or are able) to delve into the registry, bearing in mind that a method of returning to sanity must be invoked before any such experiment. It's impossible to do this from afar because I would need to load your mouse software (instead of mine) in order to persue it to a successful conclusion.
Sorry, but there it is. If you feel you can assemble the info to go that way then I hope you make it. Happy to "muck in" but there is an awful lot of donkey work that you would have to do first, staring with registry comparisons.

My Microsoft Cordless/Optical Mouse has programable buttons with a Desktop Menu. If all else fails download or change over to the MS Mouse Driver!
As far as I know most Logitec Mice have the same feature. If not on the Desktop then in the Control Panel.

If you can get a driver with that facility as suggested by MickC then it sounds a darned site better than my "steam" solution.
