What operating is the Largest Executable Program size revelant in? Is it only revelant to the way programs perform in Win 3.1 or does ot also have an affect on the programs in Windows 95 and 98 also?

It is talking about conventional memory. Dos applications use this memory which is the 640kb below the first megabyte of memory. Dos and windows and other applications use this memory to boot up in dos. Windows requir3es I believe at least 540kb of this memory is required to be available just for windows 95\98. The more applications that are set to boot in your config.sys file, the more memory is taken which sometimes causes some more memory intense games to fail. The largest executable program means that if you only have 580kb left, you better hope your game or application is under that amount. You can add more by removing unneeded lines in the config.sys file. Good luck
