I use Win98SE. Suddenly the font size of Desktop and other applications became very large so much so that parts of some windows cannot be read. However when I looked at font size under Display Properties/Settings, the font size is indicated as small fonts. How can I get back my small fonts?

Have you checked the Appearance Tab on display properties ? Maybe you have set a scheme with large fonts ( or even extra large ) . Check it out , I think this is your solution.

I had similar problem---answer was that under Accessibility Options something was checked which enlarged Fonts & affected dektop icons---be sure to open all sections esp "general"which will turn settings on & off :also under my Browser(IE5) "internet options"/ tools is a section for fonts & Accessibility which affects fonts--- & of course under browser "View" is text size---even if you never changed settings these things WILL change!! See my post #39811 for details.

Someone reset the font size so large, that i can't get to certain settings to reset the font size. I try the display settings, but its too large to scroll, what can i do. I can't see anything to troubleshoot. I tried resetting default settings in the BIOS no less.
