I have a AGER Notebook Computer and for some reason, the monitor is very dark and i don't know what to do. You can barely see the icons and stuff, but not much. Any suggestions?
You might try the Manufactor web site for updated video card drivers. Or if you know the chipset maker go directly to their site and look for updated drivers.

No dont update those drivers - I did that and it caused a Localised Parameter exhaustion- what you have wrong with your computer is called a Minor Precondition Failure caused by the backlight of your screen, the only way to fix this is to reformat your harddrive and reinstall

Or a dying backlight module. If it's not part of the LCD module, it won't be very pricy.
