HELP! Tried to figure out why windows was crashing on me all the time and found that the whole f***ing system is infected with this w32.kitro.a.worm virus. Tried to clean most of it up with Norton Antivirus, but unfortunately, my command.exe, setup.exe, msdos.exe are ALSO infected. Obviously I can't delete this without being able to run my computer. Any bright ideas?
I'm no expert on this but it would seem to me that you need to either reformat and reload windows or work on both the registry and files from a DOS prompt.
If you know when you got this virus you may be able to fix the registry by typing scanreg /restore and chosing a registry before it arrived. After that delete the files they tell you about on the above URL.
If this gets you back to Windows then you may be able to clear the rest up from there.

it would appear that all those files are actually the virus.
command.exe if in the root of C:\ is Command.com msdos.exe if in the root of C:\ is Msdos.sys
not sure of Setup.exe. This file is not usually installed anywhere unless it is in C:\Windows\Options\Cabs\Setup.exe... If this is the one, the file is 5,57 Kb and dated 23/4/1999
By the way, these .exe files do not exist on my PC HTH
