I have a casio ctk 520L keyboard and have a pc with windows XP 256 mb ram, and a 1.6 ghz processor.
i would like to record directly from my keyboard to the pc so i can mix up effects using sound forge 6. does anybody know how to do that? please tell me if you do. my keyboard does not have a midi port at the back just the regular thingy to connect to amplifier and stuff. how do i use that to connect to pc?? please help me out!

You just use the line out connection on your keyboard (the one that connects to an amplifier or headphones) & connect that to the line in connection on your sound card. They will use standard stereo jack plugs though the one on the keyboard may be larger size. Sound Forge has a recording section which you then use to record your music as you play. It is not the same as MIDI anyway because Soundforge records the sounds you hear coming from your keyboard, much like a tape. MIDI is basically for telling the PC which keys are pressed & for how long & what instrument is played.
