Hi All,
Started up the desktop PC this morning and got the error Keyboard not found press F1 to continue or Delete to enter Setup.
Did the following:
Checked connection.
Swapped out keyboards.
Tried a USB keyboard, I did not think this would work as USB Keyboard was disabled in my CMOS settings and default is also disabled.
Reset the CMOS using jumper on motherboard.
Pulled out the motherboard and checked visually for any burnt or charred spots. Found nothing visually.
Removed everything with the exception of the video card, CPU, One Stick of Ram and the Power connection to the motherboard. Did this with the board not mounted.
This is when I noticed that the monitor showed an Award Modular Bios Version 6.00PG
The board has an Phoenix Bios D686.Curious as to if someone has seen this before.
The Board is a 1st Mainboard AZ11EA.
Well I am off to get a new board but am curious as to how the incorrect bios could be seen!
Good Day!
Mesich
