1. Quite often my keyboard will lock up, I can still run programs, still use my mouse though. If I reboot with the reset button, I can't excape the abort memory check, once it loads windows, keyboard works fine again. The locking up is random, I can never predict when it will happen. I have a Pentium MMX 166, I had done some upgrades, wondering if it's a bios related problem, I bought a new keyboard even...wasn't the keyboard. I'm connected to the internet with a cable modem.
2. Memory leak, whenever I'm running a video/audio conferencing programs. My system will start to get choppy, it doesn't crash, but if I don't reboot, everything becomes extremely slow. I have 32megs ram btw. I'm using win98, this problem as with the other problem occured with windows 95 as well.
If you can help, would be greatly appreciated...not easy to duplicate an error when it's random. I need a computer techician who can give me some pointers that may be affecting the problem. Thanks.

you might be correct about bios.
in bios power management should be off or handled by windows.
if win98 then pci bus mastering should be off.
turn off screensaver and active desktop.
