key board not working

Hi, I just install new operting system 98. in my old computer. but when i start the computer it come first screen that starting window 98, and after that key board get Freeze, i start to do F8, and wanted to run in safe mode, but i cannot use my key board cause...its not working....so what should i do...i tey with different key board too.......

I had a similar problem once and found out that i had the mouse and the keyboard plugged in to the wrong ports. Check first to make sure you have them plugged in to the correct port on the back of your computer.

After you make sure they are plugged in right, and if it works for running safe mode, check your keyboard settings in the keyboard control panel. Make sure that it is set to your location, like what I use in the US, which I don't know if you are from the US too or not, I don't know, but if so, make sure it's at United States 101.
