So I've noticed that my IE has been a little slower than usual [God forbid I should multi-task on my computer] and I've gotten this error message once in awhile:
IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff7a388.

Note that if it finds a wrong file version then get the details and pop back. Mostly the file can be replaced with the correct one without re-installing IE.

Hey. I repaired IE and I did not receive any messages of any kind, so I don't know what could be wrong.

Which anti-malware/virus products have you run? When Googling around on this I got the impression that some nasty or other was a possibility.

Try clearing your temporary internet files.
If you haven't got Ad-Aware (from Lavasoft) on board, download it and Run it.

I don't currently have an anti-virus program on this computer. I tried to download an anti-virus program, I forget the name of it, and when I tried to install it it said that I needed to download a Root Certificate or something. When I went to the microsoft website it was very unclear where I could get one or which one I'd need. As for the temporary internet files, I clear those almost every night and I'll try the Ad-Aware. Thanks for your responses.

You won't get Anti-Virus for W98 from MS.
There are several good freebies around. The most popular are:
AVG (Grisoft)
Avast
I happen to use AVG. Make sure you get the free version. You still need Ad-Aware because this traps quite different things.

No no, I got the anti-virus software from somewhere else but to install the software I needed a root certificate from MS and was unsure of how to go about it. I have used AVG and I really don't like it. I'm gonna try Avast. And the Ad-Aware. Thanks.

Seems weird that you need a root certificate from MS to use someone else's software. Maybe they are taking over the world LOL.
Shout back if you get the same with AVG and I'll see if I can fathom it out somehow.
