If my Kernel32.dll was corrupted or missing I would do a full recovery.
It is likely that by tinkering with the kernel more problems will arise making a recovery the only option.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS RENAME THE ODBCCP32.CPL IN THE WINDOWS/SYSTEM DIRECTORY TO ODBCCP32.CPP AND THIS SHOULD CURE THE PROBLEM........Thank you ,Thank you very much....

In Win98 OEM version, it is usually the
double buffering system that does the
kernel32.dll problem.
Type in the exact error message and search
the internet. You will find the fix

Hi, I ran into the same type of problem with Win 98 & Communicator 4.6

Go to:
http://help.netscape.com/kb/client/970820-45.html
and I am sure that you will solve this problem. In my case, all I had to do was to
create a new User profile in Netscape and erase the old one and reboot.

Hope that this can help you.

MPLAYER2 caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL

I get the same messages when I'm trying to use WINDOWS Media Player under WINDOWS 95 OSR2. I guess Microsoft doesn't know how to make their programs compatible with such an exotic operating system (their own).

Good luck out there...
