4 out of 5 times some1 has reported an illegal operation it's got to do with kernel32.exe or kernel32.dll. Since kernel32 has to do with so many parts of the computer you have to have the whole message to know what's happening.

Any1 know a page with explanations and stuff for different kernel illegal operations?

hi dustin:
you are right about most illegal ops involving KERNEL32.DLL. the trick is to get the following data that the error message gives you. usually a message will read :
"something.exe has caused an illegal operation(or an invalid page fault) in KERNEL32.DLL at 0197:bff7a4b2". the "0197"area tells you the general cuase of the problem (bad video drivers, as an example), then the "bff7a...." tells you where the overlap(of resource demands by 2 diff apps) has occurred. not being an expert, i cant say which of the numbers listed go with which system apps, but a call to your ISP, or a post to one of the Microsoft public newsgroups will get you a pretty on target answer. MS has over 100 newsgroups that are read by MS professionals, and they will give the best answers(free) that is possible if they have the full error message and details on your system
good luck

If you are having Kernel32 errors, that means it is probably leaking. There is a patch at Microsoft that will fix this problem
