Having problems with mouse control. Sometimes when I click, the system more or less locks up. The mouse pointer jumps all over the screen and can not be controlled. I have to turn the PC off and reboot, but then it usually happens again within 5 minutes. Also, I used to have Fatal Exception errors frequently, but they have let up in exchange for the mouse problem. Any help is appreciated.
You don't mention what mouse or Operating System, but try this - in Device Manager, highlight 'mouse', and click 'remove' at the bottom of the window. Shut down and reboot. That should fix it.
