i was so happy to get my hands on a samsung syncmaster 753 DF... the previous monitor had some colour problems... that is it only gave out really really dark colours... but everything seems ok on this system with my new syncmaster... BUT i still have a problem which i am not too sure is due to which of my hard ware or software... i am using an MMX 233 system with 32mb ram and an s3 virge pci card which i believe uses a 325 chip or something like dat... the problem is very visible when i log on to sites like shockwave.com... the whole scrren will have this gibberish lines flickering on the screen (something to do with the refesh rate?) or when i run mpgs on media player or realplayer... the same jumpy lines appear and it looks worse as the screen looked garbled... (like when the refresh rates and the res setting is not supported) i set the refresh rate to 75 hz which is supp to be fine and i believe the card and the monitor should be able to display 1024*768 at that refresh rate on 16bit colour... so... where does my problem lies?? i am using windows 98 second edition... and i really have no idea wat to do... i am really gratefull for a reply... even better if u can email me to help... thanks a lot all out there~`
