I bought a used cyrix chip and need the jumper settings for it. The chip is a 6x86mx-cvapr233ge 3.0x 66mhz-2.9v core. I`m switching it with an intel 166mmx, the motherboard will support up to 233mmx but I only have jumper settings for intel and I`m told cyrix is different.
If you know what kind of a motherboard you have . . go to their web page and it should have the jumper settings. The serial # for the MB is sometimes on the edge of an ISA slot, if you don't know what kind of a motherboard you have, maybe you could find out by using the serial #.
