I recently installed a new hard drive and when I go to set up my game card and my joystick I get a message not connected. I am using the Microsoft Sidewinder and The Gravis
Thunderbird joystick. They are connected to the sound card game port. The sound card is working as far as the sound is concerned but the joystick and the game pad are not working. I also have a steering wheel connected and I get the same message for it not connected and none of them seem to work. Any one have any idea what my problem migh be. I also downloaded up to date drivers for my sound card to see if this might work. Thanks for any help. Audrey
