I just bought a new CD-Rom 36x with CD Express software to increase the buffer
to 680MB. I also own a Trident Linear
Excelerated for PCI (version 5.00.12) for the display card. I have a 2.1GB hard disk with 600MB of space left.

Unfortunately with all these, I still encountered jerking picture when watching
movies/VCD (video cd) with my Pentium 133mhz computer.

Please advise how to solve this problem.

Hi,

You don't said what model number of Trident you have, but as far as my experience go early Trident card don't have any MPEG accelerator and give you jerking video on any computers regardless of Mhz. I think you need to replace your cadr. (Don't know about Trident, but S3 Trio 64V+, S3 Trio 64V2, S3 Virge and I think many other contamporary cards has such accelerator).

Good luck, Igor M

I don't think posting about you "Jerking" problems while you're watching *videos* is appropriate for this forum. Try one of the porn sites....:)
