Java downloads

My problems started when I tried to set up an Ebay account. The description field would not take text. All other fields worked ok. I was told it was a java error. I have not been able to download java.I'm not sure if I have a software problem that can be fixed. I'm not sure how my settings should be for my browser. I am running IE6. Can anyone help?

What are your Java settings in IE? I would recommend using Firefox rather than IE. Have you tried downloading Turbo Lister and using that to list your items? Life's more painless for the brainless.

Its always worth giving IE Repair a try as first step. Go to Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs and double click the entry for "Microsoft IE & Tools". DerekW
