My problems started when I tried to set up an Ebay account. The description field would not take text. All other fields worked ok. I was told it was a java error. I have not been able to download java.I'm not sure if I have a software problem that can be fixed. I'm not sure how my settings should be for my browser. I am running IE6. Can anyone help?

What are your Java settings in IE? I would recommend using Firefox rather than IE.

Have you tried downloading Turbo Lister and using that to list your items?

Its always worth giving IE Repair a try as first step. Go to Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs and double click the entry for "Microsoft IE & Tools".
