Jamming cd tray ?

When I press the open tray button, the tray opens up and I put in the CD but when I press the close tray button the tray goes in a tiny bit and I can see the cd-read light blinking. I tried just pushing the tray all the way in but non of my cd's are read, so at the moment I have no CD drive. Please help.
