Hello,
I have the I-Worm/Opas.A Virus
Avg control center does not remove it. Does Norton's Antivirus remove it? The Symantec Security Response for the W32.Opaserv.H.Worm says to "Delete the value of instit C:\WINDOWS\instit.bat". However, I cannot remove it, as it states "Access Denied" It makes it out to be a read only file which cannot be altered or edited (Even in Dos). Of course, I have Scrsvr.exe, marco!.scr, Brasil.Pif, and dc28.exe. After removal they all find their way back onto my computer. What do I do? It is supposed to be moderately easy to remove. I have these viruses on two of my computers. I have disconnected them from the network and unshared the files. Now what?

After clicking on the properties of the file try checking Archive to change the properties, then you can delete it. Remove the check in the box read only.

I have similar problems with my computer, with I-Worm/Opas.A, F and E, i clean the whole thingy, with AVG and every time I restart the computer it still shows that the computer is infected.. The files infected are
C:\WINDOWS\SCRSVR.exe I-WORM/Opas.A
c:\windows\BRASIL.PIF I-Worm/Opas.E
c:\windows\ALEVIR.exe I-Worm/Opas.F
c:\windows\MARCO!.SCR I-Worm/Opas.A
Can anyone help with that? Seems like AVG is unable to remove them..
