I got some bad sectors in the HD of my laptop (Toshiba Satellite 4010CDS), and the usual softwares (Scandisk, NDD, etc.) try to read several and several times the bad sectors, until they get it, and didnīt mark the sector as bad... How can i get a software to manually mark bad sectors in my HD ?

Find out what kind of harddrive it is (brand wise) and then visit their website. I know that maxtor and western digital offer programs that do this.

Search for a lowlevel formatting program for your HDD. I used Western Digital old program on an old HDD and it managed to marked off the bad-sectors. Some motherboard's BIOS also has a "Harddisk lowlevel format" routine included which can do similar thing. The problem is that you'll have to erase whatever you have on your HDD. Bad-sectors means that the physical magnet surface on the plateau.
