i'm using win98, when trying to run an application from a cd i get a popup says
...is not a valid win32 application.
is there any way i can solve it???

More than likley the application that is running on the CD is not on your system. Find out what kind of application it is and then Install that programme.

If you are infected with the W32.Sonic.Worm you will receive a message
"indicating that the file is not a valid Win32 executable"

I'd run an online virus scan at either Panda or House Call to make sure you are virus free
