IRQ 9 is used for Video and/or your NIC. Video is very intensive so you should reassign anything else to IRQ 10 or above depending on what you have free. Good luck, ciao

dieart, when did you first have the problems?...did you install any hardware or software previous to the problems?..are you building a system from scratch?..to effectively troubleshoot a particular problem, you will need to get rid of the "extras" first, and get your system operating normally, then add in your extra devices to find the problem...without a knowledge of your hardware, your symptoms are somewhat vague..email me if you need some assistance.
