Hello again. I've been running this viewer but it's been hijacked by MS PhotoEditor. How can I return to Irfan? Don't mind if I have to dump MSPE. Thank you

Go to start/programs/infraview and open it. Now go to options/properties/extentions. From here you can choose what you want to open with infraview. I've been using it for years and every time you install a new photo program this will happen so just follow the steps above and ifraview will come back. No uninstalling or reinstalling needed.
