ipx network problem

I've set a peer-to-peer ipx network in win98. It works ok except for one thing. I can't see any computers in network neighborhood except for my own computer. The other computers in the network have same problem. File sharing works fine. I can access other computers by searching for them. But they just won't show up in the network neighborhood.

Easiest solution--change from IPX to IP. This works best for Windows. IPX is somewhat quirky and chatty. So unless absolutely needed (such as running a Novell server), save the headache and switch to IP. (BTW, I've never been able to show other PC's on IPX, either.)

Besides, I got an even bigger prob: file-sharing works fine, but Im not able to get Multiplayer Win-games running over IPX in contrast to Dos-games in the box. The protocol is set up correctly. As U know, there are still some really good games not supporting TCP/IP.
Some ideas? Please mail!

IPX is required for running most older games.
Ensure that you have a different computer name for each PC & that the workgroup name on each PC are exactly the same.
You should then see both PC's under the workgroup specified in Net Neighbourhood
