WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL THE ZIP INSTALL I GET A MESSAGE SAYING - "MUST RUN ON WINDOW NT 3.0 OR 4.0". THEN IT CANCELS OUT.

CAN YOU HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM I ALSO WENT TO THE IOMEGA WEB SITE AND DOWNLOADED THE FILES BUT IT STILL STAYS THE SAME THING.
IT ALSO SAYS THERE IS A CONFLICT.

Help!!!:<( I installed Windows98SE 4.10.2222A upgrade from Windows95
sr25 version "C" to get my scanner "Visioneer 5300USB" working. Since
then it has been nothing but trouble. Fierst, I lost my modem so I
bought a "Call Waiting Modem" by ActionTec. This is a PCI bus internal
modem and it is suppost to allow me to answer incoming calls up to 7
seconds in leght while still on the internet. Cool! The real problem I
don't beleave was the modem, but the Norton auto update program trying
to dail out before the modem was setup and configued. Deleted to auto
update program and now it is working. :<)

My problem now my windows98 can not find my NEC ZIP100 internal IDE
drive. I have tried everything I can think of, install from the floppy
that came with the ZIP drive. It says no ZIP drive found. But use the
"Norton ZIP Backup floppy to boot, I can read the dir of the ZIP100
backup disk. Turning off auto detect in the BIOS, but in the startup
screen still shows Atapi ZIP100 found. So then tried turning the auto
detect in BOIS back on. No change. Using the Windows95 CD in the setup
to add new hardware. Went to the IOMGA ZIP trouble shooting web site, no
help. They say IOMEGA no longer supports its early IDE internal drives.
How can that be, I have only had it for 14 months.

My system is:

Custom built: circa May 1998
ASUS P2B no dash letter motherboard with 1394 Bus Controller and
Intel 82371AB/EB PCI Bus Master IDE Controller
PII 233 MgHz
RAM 64M
CD-ROM Mitsumi FX320S !B 32X
harddrve: Quantum Fireball 6GB
NEC Floppy 1.44
NEC ZIP100 Internal IDE drive
Sound Card: Creative Labs Ensonic Soundblaster
Video Card: Diamond Multimedia Viper V330 4Meg
Case: Enlite ATX with power management
printer HP Deskjet 1200C-PS
scanner: Visioneer 5300USB
modem: "Call Waiting Modem" a PCI modem by ActionTec on "Com5"
with Lucent Chip Set
mouse: Logatec 4 button MouseMan3 (PS/2)
monitor: Viewsonic OPtiQuest V773 17in.

I have an internal SCSI zip drive with a PCI Adaptec host controller. This is what came with the Zip drive. Now that I placed the SCSI card inside the machine I get a yellow exclamation point in the settings. Obviously this is a conflict but I have absolutely no idea on where to start. Any hints on web sites or books that can help me install this. I hate to call Tech support and have them walk me through it. Please help me. I am tired of sitting on this Zip drive without ever using it.
