One of the Input/Output ranges for this device (under system devices) has a conflict with the IDE controller for my motherboard and the secondary IDE controller. I have no-idea how to fix this problem. But I'm not the only person to have it. Any suggestions ?? I don't really want to start assigning Input/Output ranges manually. It can be fixed because I've seen it done, I just dont know how. Thanks

I have exactly the same problem. The secondary IDE controller. Yep.
Did you find a solution? I would be very grateful. Disabling the IDE controller devices make it work, but only for a short time (until something tries to 'detect' the IDE controller). Also, Compatibility mode is the pits. Thanks.
