I have windows 98. After having problems with trying to install and uninstall 2 games and when I restart my computer I get the message Invalid VxD dynamic link call from NTKERN (01) + 000030A4 to device MTRR ",service 2. Your Windows configuration is invalid. Run Windows Setup program again to correct this problem. To continue running Windows press Y or enter. To quit current program press N. If you continue running Windows, your system may become unstable. Do you want to continue?

do what it says and run setup over your existing install of Windows. it should correct the file corruption. you won't lose any of your settings and you won't have to reinstall all of your programs.
