Hi, Im quite new to the forum and think its a great idea! Im having problems with an older machine i have which is running on Win 98 SE. Ive got the blue screen of death at startup with an error message stating: Invalid VXD dynamic link call from GFXVFW(01)+000002ABD to device 181X. How do i sort this? Im told that its a driver issue and the only way to sort it is by uninstalling drivers one by one then restart til the msg is removed. I dont know whether it is related to the problem but i also have an error when i check the hardware profile when i go into windows main screen. Its the yellow question mark beside PCI Communications device and when i use the utilities cd to look for drivers for it, it cant find any. What is a PCI comms Device? Ive been told that its a modem which consequently isnt working either but thats another days work lol. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
