Hi,

Enter CMOS setup and check you have your hard drive properly set here. If not perform HDD autodetection.

Good luck, Igor M

Usually you must press DEL key while compiuter performs memory test. Or read the message in the bottom of screen about what key you can use to enter CMOS while booting. Or just read in your manual how to do that. Once you get in CMOS setup here you hopefully find option HDD Autodetection.

Good luck, Igor M

you need to boot up with a startup disk floppy and tranfer system files at the a: prompt of the start up floppy type sys c: it will take a few minutes then it will say system transfered remove floppy and disk should bootthis happens sometimes wene you try to change adrive from one machine to another.

If you have a bootable floppy made under your current operating system, you can use that to boot your computer. Then change to the C: drive and go to \windows\command and use "sys a:" and a new blank floppy to create a new bootable disk. Copy sys.com to the A: drive and then reboot and from the A: drive enter "sys c:". That should freshly reinstall the system files on the hard disk. Then try rebooting from the hard disk. More details are at http://support.microsoft.com
Good luck!

I have a acer computer and i could only go to wordpad. And I could even go to excel and games such as solitaire but after a few days I can't do that. But recently, when I on the pc, it reads invalid system disk, replace it and press any key to enter. What shall I do.

Hi, I have an "Invalid System Disk." What does this mean, how do I fix this? I know a lot about computers and I built this one myself so I don't think it is a problem with the hardware. Does anyone know if it is possible that it could be a problem with software? If so, HOW CAN I FIX IT?
