Windows 3D text screen saver locked up my computer. On reboot, I get the error message: Invalid system disk, replace the disk and press any key. The WIN 98 startup disk will get me to the startup menu where I hit 1 for "restart with CD support". This gets me an "a" prompt but the "diag. tools" were loaded to D. Trying the tools on D drive does nothing. I have an old PB computer with a 200MHZ overdrive chip, 40MB Ram, WIN98, a Western Dig 4 Gig HD. It worked fine until today...the only software I've recently installed is a shareware version of freemem. HELP!!!!!!!!

My Win98 startup disk does the exact same thing! Now go back and do the same thing one more time, only watch the screen. It will tell you it has sucsessfully loaded your cd rom drivers to E:\> If you don't belive me, put your cd in the drive and type: E:\ and hit enter. If this wasn't so it would say: invalid drive specification. But instead it will stay at the E:\> Now type dir and you will see your windows files there. So now just type setup.exe at the E:\>.
