Comment:

I too encountered the frustration of the
Invalid Page Faults/Fatal Exception.
They seem to appear randomly while running Win9x but
occur more frequently when running iexplorer.
Reinstalled win98, didn't work. Got new RAM, didn't work.
I disabled the Internal Cache (we have a winner!!)
The Internal/External cache I believe is fast memory
on the CPU(pentium). So I am under the impression
my problem was with the CPU. So I sent off to have
my CPU replace. I hope it's the problem.
Good luck to the rest of you.

It's IE, but they won't admit it, Microsoft blames the web sites for not writing the pages correctly. Pigs can fly too. Netscape and the other browsers run fine on the same pages. If the new processor doesn't cure it, send the bill to Bill Gates.

this is all having to do with programming within microsoft. i personnaly have had some unbeleivable times with windows98, and nothing being good. error dialogs is just
another part of windows. i wouldnt be surprised if microsoft went to court for making software the way it does, DONT LET THEM FOOL YOU!...CHECK ANYTHING YOU CAN ON SITE LIKE THESE. MICROSOFT WILL GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND IF YOU GIVE THEM A CHANCE. and especialy when they charge about 35 dollars per any time they are called with something wrong with windows. they know when they make good or bad software, new outlook express is a good example. it comes with a file named msoe.txt, the file tells about potential bug within program. any one that reads it can take a look for themselves.

I, too, have experienced numerous problems with the "jit.dll" error message. Funny how it is ALWAYS in Internet Explorer and how it NEVER happens with Netscape Navigator. I prefer I.E. but they are forcing me to turn to Netscape. THey may never get me back!

for those of you with the problems with JIT.DLL, thats the JPilot java chat applet. That's all i know. i can't even get into my own chat room because of "Iexplore has caused an error in JIT.DLL and will now close". i'm going to try the same thing in netscape, but i really do prefer IE. Any ideas anyone?
