Reply: (edit)Since none of the smart guys have answered this I'll say what little I think I know. The master boot record directs the bios to the boot sector which loads the operating system. "fdisk mbr" rewrites the master boot record. I think "sys c:" rewrites the boot sector. Boot sector problems can be caused by a virus. Repost if what I suggested doesn't help. And tell your symptoms and error message.
