Invalid dynamic link call to dll file

I installed lotus 123r5 and when tried to run the program it tells me that
"Your program is making an invalid dynamic link call to a .dll file"
I tried to run kernel toys to check my krnl386.exe - properties shows that 16bit mode is disabled. Could this be the reason?
It happens even on my other software like tutorial software.
I installed and ran Norton Utilities version 4.0.. I had the same problem. It cleared up the problem completely. This software cost me about $20 after instant and mail in rebates. It was well worth it.

I have the same problem with 123wr5.
The reason, I believe, that 123 has a set of ovsolete shared dlls overwriting newer ones upon the installation. You have to reinstall some s/w that has approx. same dlls. I ran sr2 for MSOff97 - worked like a champ.
