I saw a posting earlier today listing some sites for possible interwave downloads, but have been unable to find that posting again. Can somebody please repost sites for replacement interwave sound drivers?
I am looking for the same thing! Help! Can not find anything on InterWave soundcard driver. If you find anything out......let me know

I guess the problem is widespread. I only paid 10 bucks for this piece of crap card, and after having the problems I've had, I'm going to get a new card and a brand name one!

I got this card with my Compaq Presario, and now it says that it's missing the IW.INI file. Since I have no means of restoring it, I now have a computer with no sound! If there is someone who has a solution, I'd really like to hear about it!

I HAVE THE SOLUTION! About 10 minutes after posting my message (above), I found a fix! Go to http://www.emsatechnologies.com/drivers/ and then download the Interwav.zip file. After you get this file, unzip it with PKZip, Netzip, or Winzip (which are available at www.download.com), run the setup, and then after restarting, you will finally have sound again! Send your praises if you would like.

Thanks a tons for the help, I also lost my CMOS config and I do not have the settings for the IRQ, DMA and Memory Addresses. I have a AMD Interwave 32 bit sound card in a Compaq Presario 8760. Thank a bunch to anyone who can give me these.......

IRQ, select 5 option, DMA, select the 1 option, For the I/O address, select the 220 option
These are to be used if the Interwave option is not present and you then must chose the Soundblaster option not the soundblaster pro or the soundblaster 16 option

I have done the above and I still get the win98-SE crashing on me because of a conflicting IRQ on the same card. Is there something else that I am missing?

i have the mighty interwave card, and while im GRATEFUL i have sound, there is nothing i can do to open up the midi channels, 2 days, no sleep, pro tools it aint
