Hi, my name is Mark and I am a public school teacher. In addition, I repair all the school computers - both software and hardware - even though I am not a technician. Some of the computers use win 3.1 and when the kids mess them up, I simply run a cable between the two computers and using interlnk.exe, intersvr.exe, and xcopy. exe I restore the computer. My problem is that a computer in the staffroom has crashed and it uses win95. If I simply reinstall everything, I will have trouble with the network card because it uses a driver and some special software which is not readily available on line - only at the school board. There is an identical computer in the adjoining staffroom which is fine. Is there a way to reformat the first computer and then simple copy the entire contents of the second functioning computer onto the first using a cable? Thank you and have a nice day.
