My Internet explorer 5.5 doesn't work. If i get lucky it would load the first web site i type in but with no pictures. The only page it can load is yahoo. What's odd about this is that me and my brother have different profiles and his internet explorer works on his profile. I copied all his security settings and changed mine to the exact same as his but it still wouldn't work. I tried reinstalling and repairing it but no luck. Is there a way i can copy the files i need from my brothers profile and paste over my internet explorer files so it would work? CAN SOMEONE PLZ HELP ME DO THIS OR FIND ANOTHER WAY? PLEASE?

I don't use IE but if you can create a new user profile for
yourself have you tried that? [in Netscape you can]

Have someone else log into your computer and go to "Control Panel", "Users" and remove your userid. (It has to be another user because the person logged in cannot remove their own ID.
Then go to C:\WINDOWS\TEMP and remove all the files. Have that person log out. You login yourself. This will set you up with the standard defaults. You can then set up your own information and it should work ok. (((it says in fine print))).

Maurice, I know your method would work but i don't want to delete my userid, that's what i am trying to avoid. You see i have this folder which contains everything i ever downloaded and everything important to me in it and i don't want to delete it and i can't make a backup of it because it is 4 gigs and i only have 1 gig left on my hard drive. Do you know another method?
And thank you DW but your method didn't work

Your content advisor might be restricting your access.
In Internet Explorer go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Content.
There is a button with either Enable or Disable written on it. If it says Disable you might have to enter a password to do this, otherwise just click the button and try a site.
