Reply: (edit)LJ, Open Internet Explorer, Tools/Internet Options, under the "Advanced" tab, under "Browsing" put a checkmark in front of "Disable Script Debugging", take the checkmark out of "Display a notification about every script error", click "Apply", click "OK".

Reply: (edit)Tufenuf: That works fine in IE 5, but what do you do in IE 4 where you do not have the same choices? Is there a registry hack that will stop the error popup yet still allow running scripts?

Reply: (edit)n/a : So do I. But, I don't have an entry "Display a notification about every script error" that I can uncheck. Effectively, that's what I want to do with a registry hack ... if there is one.

Reply: (edit)LJ in TX : Well, you could try this ... but it will stop all scripting, rendering some operations impossible. Open Internet Explorer, Tools/Internet Options & under the "Security" tab, click "Custom Level". Go down to Scripting/Active Scripting & put a checkmark in front of "Disable". Click "OK", click "OK".
