Hi! Internet explorer just quit working on me. I am using AOL and ever time I click on a link it tries to load Internet Explorer and it doesn't work, it takes forever and then it always sais it can't find the page. I tried loading it strait from desk top and it still won't find any internet sites. It works fine though if I am off-line.. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I don't know AOL or why it is so popular but if "It works fine though if I am off-line" then use it off-line. LMAO

If my understanding is correct then you can establish your connection with AOL and then minimize AOL to the tray, Open IE and use it instead of AOL. Alledgedly this works. Again, I have not even seen anyone using AOL so I do not know. (Still LMAO; sorry)

Funny... I have never used AOL before either. I just moved and am using the free month of AOL until I get set up with DSL. I tried minimising AOL and using IE but it won't work because IE won't connect to any web page.

I think I shall just try re-installing IE again.

Oh, and IE worked after I installed AOL, it just quit working a few days ago.

Thanks.

Sorry, I couldn't resist as it just hit me as funny.

Try going to control panel, Add/Remove, Microsoft Internet Explorer, click to remove it and a box will appear offering the option to repair IE, select repair.

HTH
